Tesco and Sainsbury's reveal their Christmas adverts for 2026
Tesco has Roisin Conaty and Anna Maxwell Martin on a delivery run, and Sainsbury's has brought back the BFG for a third year.

Tesco and Sainsbury's both unveiled their Christmas adverts on Sunday, and both films turn on getting Christmas food to someone who can't reach it.
Tesco's three-minute film, The Wrong Address, stars comedian Roisin Conaty as Polly, a delivery driver, and Anna Maxwell Martin as Lizzie, an old school friend. Lizzie has moved house and sent her big Christmas shop to her former home by mistake, hundreds of miles away. Polly offers to meet her halfway. A 60-second version gets its first TV slot during Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? on ITV on Sunday evening.
Sainsbury's has gone back to Roald Dahl's Big Friendly Giant, the third Christmas running it has used the character. This time the BFG is unwell and on his own, so Annie, a Sainsbury's employee, sets off across Giant Country to take him his dinner.
