Shania Twain to headline State Fayre 2027 at Hylands Park in Chelmsford
The country star plays on Saturday 19 June, and tickets for the festival of American culture go on general sale at 9am on Friday.
Shania Twain will headline the second State Fayre festival in Essex next summer, the first headliner announced for the 2027 event.
The festival, a celebration of American culture, runs from 18 to 20 June at Hylands Park in Chelmsford. Twain, 61, plays on Saturday 19 June, performing some of her biggest hits. Organisers said two more headliners and the rest of the line-up are still to come.
State Fayre began in 2026, when more than 50,000 people went.
Eight dates in June
Chelmsford is one of eight outdoor shows Twain has announced for the UK and Ireland next summer:
- Wednesday 16 June: Open Air Theatre, Scarborough
- Thursday 17 June: Glasgow Summer Sessions, Bellahouston Park
- Saturday 19 June: State Fayre, Chelmsford
- Tuesday 22 June: Blackweir Fields, Cardiff
- Thursday 24 June: Live at Powderham, Exeter
- Saturday 26 June: Marlay Park, Dublin
- Sunday 27 June: Belsonic, Belfast
- Tuesday 29 June: Blenheim Palace Festival, Oxfordshire
When tickets go on sale
A PayPal presale for weekend and Saturday tickets opens at 9am on Wednesday 4 November. The general sale follows at 9am on Friday 6 November, through statefayre.com.
